Since Ceylon cinnamon is the most expensive, then they fake it very often. This species has a pronounced sweet smell and taste: whoever consumed it will never confuse it with other species. It is easiest to distinguish cinnamon when it is in the form of tubes.

Look carefully at the cinnamon tube from the side: only the Ceylon cinnamon and no other longitudinal edges from both ends curl inward and resemble ram horns.
